Cookie and Storage Policy

Last updated: September 1, 2026. This page explains cookies, local browser storage and related technologies used by Nexhance AI, including how they differ from local image processing performed by free utilities.

1. Essential authentication storage

When Supabase Authentication is enabled, session information may be stored in the browser so you can remain signed in, open Account settings and submit authenticated processing requests. This storage is necessary for account features.

2. Preference storage

Nexhance AI stores appearance, download and workflow preferences locally in the browser. An unfinished checkout draft may also be stored so customer and address fields are not lost while you compare plans. These values can be cleared from Account settings → Privacy.

3. Security and service operation

Hosting, payment and security providers may set strictly necessary cookies or use request information to prevent abuse, complete checkout and maintain reliable service. Their handling is governed by their own policies.

4. Analytics and advertising

When the site operator configures Google AdSense, advertisements may appear on long-form informational guide content. Google and its partners may use cookies, local storage or similar technologies to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Ads are not intentionally placed in the processing workspace, checkout, account settings or beside download controls.

For visitors in regions where consent is required, the site operator must use an appropriate consent-management platform before requesting personalized or non-personalized advertising cookies. A visitor may be shown controls to accept, reject or manage advertising choices.

5. Managing storage

You can clear Nexhance AI preferences and the unfinished checkout draft from Account settings → Privacy, or clear all site storage through your browser. Removing authentication storage signs you out. Blocking essential storage may prevent account and checkout features from working.

6. Local image processing is not the same as browser storage

Free utilities may use browser APIs to read an image selected by you, process pixels locally and create a downloadable result. That image operation is different from using cookies or local storage to remember a preference or authentication state. The selected image does not need to be saved as a cookie in order for a local image utility to work.

Temporary in-memory browser data may still exist while the page is open. Closing or refreshing the page can clear that working state depending on the utility. Keep your own copy of any export you want to preserve.

7. Authentication, account and checkout storage

Signed-in AI processing requires authentication state so the service can associate credits and processing history with the correct account. Checkout may also use necessary storage or provider cookies to preserve transaction state, prevent fraud and return you from hosted payment pages safely.

8. Advertising consent and informational content

Advertising technologies, when enabled, are intended for substantive informational pages rather than the image workspace, download controls, checkout or account settings. Where the applicable law requires consent, non-essential advertising or measurement technologies should not be activated before the required choice is obtained.

Rejecting non-essential advertising cookies should not turn the free image utilities into paid tools or remove an existing account credit balance. Essential service storage may still be required for authentication, security and payment functions.

9. Clearing preferences and site data

You can clear supported Nexhance AI preference data through available account privacy controls or use your browser settings to remove site data. Clearing all site data can sign you out, remove saved preferences and discard unfinished local state. It does not cancel a paid subscription by itself; subscription changes must be completed through the billing flow.

10. Third-party domains and provider storage

Authentication, payment, security and advertising providers may operate on their own domains and may set cookies or similar technologies according to their services and legal obligations. Their storage is governed by their own policies in addition to the controls Nexhance AI can provide on its website.
