It is useful when a portrait needs more room above the head, a landscape must become wider for a website banner, a square image needs a vertical social crop, or a campaign layout needs empty space for text. Unlike a normal cropper or resizer, the extender does not simply stretch pixels. It generates new surroundings that try to continue the scene, lighting and perspective. Start with a source that has a clear subject and enough contextual information near the edge you want to extend. Small, purposeful expansions are easier to control than extremely large canvas changes. After processing, inspect horizons, architecture, repeated patterns, shadows, hands, clothing and any new objects introduced near the boundary.
